The Capt'n Crabby food truck began in Denver, CO in 2011, the creation of 2 Marylanders bringing fresh Maryland cuisine out West. After several years of success there, it was time to move back East. In 2015 we made the trek across country with our food truck to Virginia Beach, VA. We enjoyed getting to know our new town & taking the food truck to local events & breweries for several years. In 2019 we opened the Capt'n Crabby Cafe on Granby St in Norfolk, VA. We turned our little spot into a haven for Marylanders & great food. We did our best to sustain during the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic & its aftermath, but eventually had to close the Cafe in 2022. With that it was time to move back home to Charm City! We brought our food trucks north to service the DMV area & have opened up a quaint little restaurant in Baltimore on The Avenue in Hampden. We always have more in store & can't wait to see what this next chapter will bring! Check us out all over the Mid-Atlantic whenever you want some good old traditional Crabtastic Maryland cuisine!
